Our first wound care story. This horse suffered a significant injury to the right shoulder and was worked on by Dr. Ben Buchanan at Brazos Valley Equine Hospital to repair and restore the wound. Unfortunately, the skin graph did not fully adhere to cover the wound. The remaining wound was left open to heal. TOML products were introduced to the horse in late August as a topical solution with oral tincture to begin healing the exposed wound and provide stress relief during confinement. Over the course of the next 7 weeks, utilizing TOML Salves and 1500mg oral tincture the wound began healing nicely and the animal regained full motion and utilization of the front shoulder. Currently Ali is with a new owner after being sold and has responded very well in the new environment and about to start being ridden again.
